6th Annual Champions Challenge

The 6th Annual Champions Challenge will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the First Tee Learning Center in Charlotte. Schools will select two fourth grade and two fifth grade representatives (one male and one female for each) to compete in a nine-hole SNAG skills challenge.  The fourth grade students will compete in the morning session from 9:30 am-12:30 am and the fifth grade students will be in the afternoon session from 1:30 pm-4:30 pm. The students will be using skills (putt, chip, pitch and full swing) and knowledge that they have previously learned during their physical education classes.

Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from the event and are encouraged to stay as spectators.  Coach Hockensmith will be attending the event as well.  All golf equipment will be supplied by the First Tee Golf of Charlotte program.  The First Tee program will adhere to all suggested and mandated safety protocols for the event.  If you and your son or daughter would like to participate in this event, please contact Coach Hockensmith by February 21st so that registration details can be completed.
